Why do interior designers love using blush pink?
Bright fushia pinks have taken a back seat to soft, barely there blush pinks, which are now very trendy colors. Just like nude, natural or blush pinks were popular for lipstick shades in 2015 and 2016. It’s so popular in home decor, it even looks to be replacing another trending neutral, gray. Blush pink can be used as a neutral, it looks fresh and new, and you’ll notice it used in unconventional ways; even in kitchens, living rooms, and master bedrooms. I’ve used it in my own bedroom with whites, a creamy backdrop, taupe, and chocolate browns by simply adding a throw and pillow in these trendy tones. Very feminine, soft, soothing and luxurious looking.
